“I learned how to drive with zero experience beforehand and pass my test just with the school! Highly recommend; they are patient, comfortable, and teach you to think for yourself with the kindest assistance.”

Jahsarah Clarke · Google review

“As an older new driver I was very hesitant to get my license. Wilfredo was amazing to work with. He had amazing patience and very informative.”

Michele Muniz · Google review

“Easily passed my drivers test with a 100 and no errors. My instructor, Josy really taught me how to drive with only 3 lessons once each week that led up to the drivers test.”

01A driving school close to St. Cloud

St. Cloud is one of Osceola County's two cities, with about 74,960 residents in the Census Bureau's 2025 estimate, up from about 59,000 in 2020. Our office at 3831 W Vine St in Kissimmee sits on US 192, the same road that runs into St. Cloud, about 12 miles away.

Because Osceola County gives road tests only at its two Kissimmee offices, many St. Cloud students test close to our office anyway. We use lesson time well: the maneuvers the Florida DMV lists for the Class E skills test, plus the habits that keep a new driver safe on a busy highway like US 192.

The state keeps a public list of commercial schools that teach behind the wheel, and our school is on it. For St. Cloud students close to test day, Premium Plus ($175) pairs a 30-minute warm-up with the road test; newer drivers usually start with Bronze ($149) and add lessons as needed. Share your St. Cloud address when you book a road package and we confirm pick-up.

02Main roads around St. Cloud
  • US 192 is W Vine St in Kissimmee, then Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and 13th Street through St. Cloud.
  • FDOT widened US 192 to six lanes between Aeronautical Drive and Budinger Avenue.
  • Florida's Turnpike exit 244 is Kissimmee-St. Cloud North (US 192 and US 441); exit 242 is Kissimmee-St. Cloud South.
  • An FDOT project will resurface US 192 from Main Street to Aeronautical Drive.
  • CFX plans SR 534 to ease traffic on Narcoossee and Boggy Creek roads in southeast Orange and northeast Osceola.
03Can I take tests at the St. Cloud Tax Collector office?
No. The St. Cloud branch at 1300 9th Street, in the same building as City Hall, offers driver license services such as renewals, replacements and address changes, but it does not give written or road tests. Osceola County offers the written test and the road skills test at the Main Office on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway and at the Campbell City Office on South Orange Blossom Trail, and the road test is by appointment only.
04Who can use Osceola County offices?
The Florida DMV lists all four Osceola Tax Collector offices as serving county residents only, with appointments made through the Tax Collector's website. If you live in St. Cloud you are an Osceola County resident, so these are your offices.
05What does the teen course requirement look like in Osceola?
The Osceola Tax Collector explains that new teen drivers ages 15 to 17 now take the 6-hour DETS course, while drivers 18 and older continue with the 4-hour TLSAE course. The Florida DMV sets August 1, 2025 as the date DETS became required for first-time drivers under 18.
06What should St. Cloud teens know about driving hours?
With a learner's license, driving is limited to daylight for the first three months and then until 10 p.m., always with a licensed driver 21 or older in the front passenger seat. Once licensed, 16-year-olds may drive between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. and 17-year-olds between 5 a.m. and 1 a.m., unless driving to or from work or with a licensed driver 21 or older.
07How safe are Osceola County roads?
The Florida DMV's 2024 crash report counts 6,234 crashes and 47 deaths in Osceola County, and 782 drivers aged 15 to 19 were involved in crashes that year. That is why our lessons go beyond the test maneuvers to scanning, speed control and safe following distance.
// FAQ · St. Cloud

St. Cloud drivers ask us

01Do you teach drivers from St. Cloud?
Yes. St. Cloud is about 12 miles from our Kissimmee office along US 192. Lessons are in English or Spanish, and road packages include pick-up: share your address when you book.
02Where will I take my road test?
Osceola County gives the road test by appointment at its Main Office and Campbell City Office, both in Kissimmee. The St. Cloud branch does not give tests.
03Are the exams available in Spanish?
No. Since February 6, 2026, the Florida DMV gives the knowledge and skills exams in English only, without interpreters. Lessons can still be in Spanish, and the official handbook is on our handbooks page in both languages.
04What does a road test package include?
Premium Plus ($175) is a 30-minute refresher lesson plus the road test, and Premium Ultra ($255) gives you a full two-hour lesson before the test. Both include pick-up; drop-off is not included. Diamond and Titanium road packages also include our car for the test.
05Do teens in St. Cloud need DETS?
Yes, if they are under 18 and have never held a license. The 6-hour course is online through our partner American Safety Institute.
