From Landstar Blvd to the SR 417 toll ramps, we coach Meadow Woods drivers in English or Spanish and get them ready for an Orange County road test at Sand Lake or Lee Vista.

Meadow Woods is about 15.5 miles by road from our Kissimmee office, by way of OBT and SR 417. Road packages begin with pick-up at your address, so the first minutes happen on your own streets before Landstar Blvd and its 34,000 vehicles a day.
New driver heading for a Sand Lake road test? Gold and Platinum are the packages chosen most. If the family car can't be spared on exam day, Diamond and up, plus both Premium packages, include our dual-control car.

Roads named here are examples. Your instructor sets the pace from your skills, the time of day and any road work.
Meadow Woods is an unincorporated community in Orange County, so residents book their road test with the Orange County Tax Collector, even though our Kissimmee classroom in Osceola is only about 15.5 miles away by road. Osceola offices serve their own county's residents.
Five Orange offices give road tests: Clarcona, Lee Vista & 417, Sand Lake, University and West Oaks Mall. Measured by road from the middle of the community, Sand Lake is about 11 miles and Lee Vista & 417 about 13.3, the two nearest; University, West Oaks Mall and Clarcona are all farther. Every slot needs an appointment, booked through the Tax Collector's road-test page, and only Orange County residents can take one. The Downtown office on Rosalind Avenue handles other license work but no road tests, so leave it out of your plans.
The Florida Department of Transportation's 2025 traffic counts show what a learner in Meadow Woods shares the road with:
The expressway itself is not new. The Central Florida Expressway Authority says the 1998 section of SR 417 between SR 528 and SR 535/536 served growing communities, Meadow Woods among them. For a new driver the takeaway is simple: quiet four-lane roads are rare here, so lessons climb from residential streets to these corridors one step at a time.
Meadow Woods asks for two different skill sets. Landstar Blvd and Wetherbee Rd are about signals, turn lanes and cars pulling out of side streets. SR 417 is about speed, gaps and mirrors. Trying to learn both in one afternoon overloads most beginners, so we separate them.
The dual-control car gives the instructor a brake of their own, which is what keeps these first busy-road lessons calm instead of tense.
Most Meadow Woods residents speak Spanish at home. The Census Bureau's 2020-2024 American Community Survey puts it at 58.6% of residents age 5 and older, a share topped by only one other community on our pages. Our instructors switch between Spanish and English whenever you ask, even in the middle of a maneuver, so a nervous beginner can hear each instruction in the language they think in.
The exams follow a stricter rule. Since February 6, 2026, Florida gives the knowledge exam and the road test only in English, with no interpreters. That is why we pair every Spanish explanation with the English command an examiner would actually say: stop here, turn left at the light, back into the space. By test day those phrases should feel routine. Studying in Spanish is perfectly fine; just make sure you have also seen the material in English before the exam.
All of our road packages include pick-up at the student's address, and Meadow Woods is within reach: about 15.5 miles by road from our office at 3831 W Vine St, along Hoagland Blvd, Orange Blossom Trail and SR 417. When you book, give us the full address and we confirm where the instructor will meet you.
The instructor arrives in our dual-control car, with a brake on the instructor's side, so the first minutes on unfamiliar roads carry less pressure. Lessons can be taught in English, Spanish or a mix of both.
Road-test day works a little differently. If your package includes our car for the exam (Diamond and above, or Premium Plus and Premium Ultra), we pick you up at home and drive to the Orange County office together. There is no drop-off after the test, so arrange your ride home from Sand Lake or Lee Vista ahead of time.
With 43,790 residents in the 2020 Census, Meadow Woods is the largest Orange County community on our pages, and its new drivers range from teenagers to adults getting a first license. Florida splits the path at 18.
Adults who already drive with confidence can skip a long lesson plan: Premium Plus adds a 30-minute refresher before the road test in our car, and Premium Ultra a two-hour one.
Meadow Woods is the only unincorporated community on our pages confirmed to contain a SunRail station: the Meadow Woods stop at 120 Fairway Woods Blvd., which offers free parking. On Rhode Island Woods Circle, Orange County's 19-acre Meadow Woods Park and recreation center sits at number 1751, and Meadow Woods Middle School is at 1800.
Those places shape a learner's habits. Around a school, the reduced speed applies whenever the zone is marked as in effect, and children cross where drivers least expect them. Near a station, watch for pedestrians carrying bags and cars stopping to load passengers. Wherever tracks cross a road, the rule never changes: do not stop on the tracks, and do not start across until there is room for your whole car on the other side.
We cover these situations early, because they show up on everyday trips long before a road test.
