Road package lessons are two hours. Manual transmission lessons are 1.5 hours. Premium Plus includes a 30-minute refresher before the road test.

Monday, Tuesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.; Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Dual-control Mini Cooper and Toyota Prius cars, so the instructor has a brake on the passenger side and can brake when needed.

Bronze: one two-hour lesson for $149, with pick-up and drop-off.

Bronze ($149, 1 lesson), Silver ($289, 2 lessons), Gold ($429, 3 lessons), Platinum ($709, 5 lessons), Diamond ($1,399, 10 lessons) and Titanium ($2,749, 20 lessons). Every lesson is two hours.

Premium Plus ($175) is a 30-minute refresher plus the road test, and Premium Ultra ($255) is a two-hour refresher plus the road test. Manual transmission packages are $179, $349 and $499 for one, two or three 1.5-hour lessons.

Premium Plus and Premium Ultra include practice and the road test in our dual-control vehicle, with pick-up included (drop-off is not). Road packages from Gold up also include our car for the road test. Florida requires the test vehicle to have valid registration, proof of insurance and working equipment.

FLHSMV lists the Class E skills test maneuvers, including the three-point turn, straight-in parking, parking on a grade, the quick stop and backing, plus stop signs, traffic signals, right-of-way, signaling, lane position, following distance and posture.

Osceola County residents test by appointment at the Tax Collector's Main and Campbell City offices in Kissimmee. Orange County residents test at one of five Orange County Tax Collector offices. Each county serves its own residents.

If you don't pass on your first try using our car, we give you a free refresher lesson before your retake. Tell us what the examiner marked and we focus the next lesson on those maneuvers. Premium Plus and Premium Ultra let you practice and retake the test in our vehicle.

Yes. Lessons are available in English, Spanish or a mix, at no extra cost.

No. Since February 6, 2026, FLHSMV gives all driver license knowledge and skills exams in English only, without interpreters. The knowledge exam has 50 questions and you need 40 correct. The official handbook is on our handbooks page in Spanish, and lessons can be in Spanish.

Many are. Through American Safety Institute you can take TLSAE, BDI, ADI and other Florida courses in Spanish; see our online courses page.

Yes. We start in an empty parking lot with the basics and move to traffic only when you are ready.

A Florida learner's license or a valid license. First-time drivers under 18 complete the 6-hour DETS course before applying for a license, and first-time drivers 18 and older take the 4-hour TLSAE course.

Not at all. We go one skill at a time, repeat what you need and never rush you.
